All repair quotes now include a $20.00 discount for cash such as Federal Reserve Notes (U.S. Dollars; commonly referred to as: “greenbacks”), Blank Money Orders, Gold & Silver.
(Charges, Personal checks or other money of account do not qualify as cash. Cash discount applies to customer authorized repairs and does not apply in case of trip & diagnostic fee only where no repair is performed.)
I would actually prefer to charge a service fee for checks or charges since these things have to be processed but this is actually prohibited by merchants services contracts. Although these contracts do provide for cash discounts so this is what I offer for our own benefit. 🙂
